At The Backyard Boutique we always aim to keep delivery charges to a minimum.
Australia Post is the carrier we use for the majority of our shipments. When ordering our products via Down That Little Lane we charge a flat $12.95 delivery fee on all products under $100.00. If more than one item is purchased in a single transaction then only the first item is charged the $12.95 shipping fee.
Australia Post places restrictions on parcels and will not accept parcels heavier than 22kg in weight or parcels whose dimensions exceed 105cm in length or 200cm in girth. Therefore orders containing more than one item may be dispatched as multiple parcels. Due to these restrictions we may need to use a courier for larger items. These items may incur a slightly higher delivery fee. If an item incurs a higher delivery fee you will be notified by one of our staff prior to dispatch.
We aim to have all orders dispatched within 2-3 working days of receiving them. If your order has not been delivered within 10 working days please contact us and we will advise of its estimated delivery. If you are not at the shipping address when the parcel is delivered Australia Post will leave a card detailing arrangements for pickup at your local post office. When the delivery is made by courier, arrangements for pick-up or subsequent drop off will be as per the courier contract made with The Backyard Boutique at the time of booking.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase from The Backyard Boutique or the product is faulty or damaged, then you may return the item(s) to us within 10 days from date of delivery for a replacement or refund, provided the items(s) are returned in original condition including its packaging and an explanation is given with a copy of the original tax invoice/proof of purchase. If upon delivery your item is damaged or defective we will arrange for a replacement to be sent to you. Original delivery charges are not refundable. However if you simply change your mind or are not happy with your purchase the item(s) are returned to us at the customer’s own cost and risk. Once received back we will refund in full the purchase price of the goods (excluding delivery charges).
